• Understand how we can re-sculpt our habits and break free from the mental patterns that hold us back and keep us stressed.

• Learn about how whole brain integration is essential for well-being - with integration we achieve harmony; without integration, chaos and rigidity result

• Learn how relationships influence the brain and the brain influences relationships.

• See quantifiable results through HeartMath Technology – the only scientifically validated system of stress intervention techniques and objective biometric feedback that quantifiably and dramatically boosts the health and performance of individuals.

MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a highly researched and popular programme that cultivates mindfulness in everyday life, improving health and easing stress. This programme is based upon the work of Dr Jon Zabat-Zinn, our own work and other leading authorities in the world of neurobiology and meditation.

During this 8 week course we will explore and encourage you to make mindfulness practice part of your lifestyle. Backed by sound scientific research presented in an easy to understand format, not only will you enjoy meditation you will understand why meditation should be seen as being just as important to our health and well-being as exercise and diet have become over recent decades.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The MBSR course follows a structured 8 week, group programme with groups varying between 6 and 12 participants. Single weekly sessions are generally 2 to 2.5 hours and there is an optional single all-day mindfulness retreat per course on a weekend day circa weeks 5/6.
